Case Study

Situation: Vaute Couture wanted to increase foot traffic into the store on the weekend. I was tasked with finding interesting events for the Brooklyn store to host.

Type: Sales Development and Event Planning

Approach: I looked at various types of events that small businesses usually hosted. Many of these events tied closely to the brand values. We did not have any money for the event, so I looked at cost-efficient events that people generally enjoyed going to.

Solution: With this research, I created the idea of hosting an adoption event at the store. I looked at various rescues in New York City who would be interested in partnering with Vaute. I handled the marketing, logistics, and planning of the adoption event.

Impact: This event is done every year, and it has helped raise awareness for the rescue group and has helped get dogs adopted into new homes.

I helped plan Vaute's first in-store adoption event in partnership with Foster Dogs NYC. Now this event is done every year!
